Sensationalized and Hack Job are some terms that come to mind. There's a bunch of bullshit they load up in those articles, but I'm admittedly biased because I'm employed through the general aviation industry which USA Today seems ardently aimed at destroying in attempt to boost their own sales.

Let's not be naive. Throughout history, great people with good intentions have offered valuable information only to be manipulated and taken out of context to further the media's nefarious agenda.
